Wizit Plugin for Bigcommerce (Retailer Guide)

Welcome to Wizit

Thanks for choosing Wizit! We offer an easy way for your customer to split their purchase over four easy payments, increasing customer conversions, and allowing us to market your company to our existing customer base.

Pre-Requisites

To offer Wizit on your site, you will need two things

  1. A Wizit Retailer Account – Details for your Retailer account will be sent to your email once it is set up, with a prompt to reset your password.
  2. Your API key – Your API key will be sent to you by your account manager during setup.

Store Currency

Please note that Store Currency must correspond to the Wizit account region.
• Navigate to: Bigcommerce Admin > Settings > Currencies
• Under ‘Currency name’, the ‘Currency’ must be: Australian dollars-AUD

How to Install Wizit for Bigcommerce

  1. Log in to the admin portal.

  2. Navigate to Apps -> My Draft Apps.

  1. Install Wizit and wait for the installation to complete.
  2. Return to the Store Settings panel.
  3. Go to Setup -> Payments.
  4. Add the Check payment method from Additional Providers.


  1. Save and refresh page
  2. Go to Check settings at the top of the Payment Methods screen.
  3. Enter the following details:
    Display Name: Wizit#
    Available Countries: Australia
    Payment information: Any


  1. Navigate to Apps and click on Wizit

screen appears, you will need to set the following parameters:

Enable/Disable — Enable / Disable Wizit

Configure the Environment type — Enable sandbox/ Production enviroment

Wizit API Key — API key that was supplied during account creation

Wizit Widget — display a Wizit banner/Logo in various storefront locations, informing shoppers of what Wizit is and how to use it.

Minimum and Maximum Amount settings

Wizit Minimum Payment Amount: field - This information is supplied by Wizit and cannot be edited. The Minimum Payment Amount is the lowest dollar value purchase that will present Wizit as a payment option. This value is automatically updated on a regular basis by the extension.

Wizit Maximum Payment Amount: field - This information is supplied by Wizit and cannot be edited. The Maximum Payment Amount is the highest dollar value purchase that will present Wizit as a payment option. This value is automatically updated on a regular basis by the extension.

Merchant Minimum Payment Amount: input field - This is the minimum amount that you as a Merchant wish to offer Wizit as a payment option. This value must be equal to, or greater than the Wizit Minimum Payment Amount value described above.

Merchant Maximum Payment Amount: input field - This is the maximum amount that you as a Merchant wish to offer Wizit as a payment option. This value must be equal to, or less than the Wizit Maximum Payment Amount value described above.

  1. Wizit is now ready to use on your site.

Online Payment Methods Setup

Once you have an account, use the steps below to connect it with your store.

Click the ▼ icon next to Online Payment Methods.

Locate Wizit and click Set up beside it.

Once the Settings screen appears, you will need to set the following parameters:

Enable/Disable — Enable / Disable Wizit

Configure the Environment type — Enable sandbox/ Production enviroment

Wizit API Key — API key that was supplied during account creation

Purchase Flow

Once installed, the Wizit option will appear next to products that are within the allowed price range.

When the customer chooses to check out they will be presented with the Wizit option, in addition to any other payment types configured on your store.

Once the customer clicks “Place Order” they will enter their information and be directed to the Wizit site to complete payment.

Once payment is completed, the customer will be redirected back to the order confirmation page on your store.
